10 Description
|
Please note that all photographs and illustrations are representative
only. All measurements are approximate.
Due to the nature of oak, furniture dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly from the quoted sizes. We reserve the right to change designs and specifications without prior notice.
Each item of furniture is given an authentic level of distressing to suit
the period in which the piece would have been originally produced, unless
specified otherwise.
IMPORTANT: When ordering please include the product code number and colour
choice and distressing level if different from standard.
Each piece of furniture can be colour matched to an existing piece of
furniture. There is a surcharge of £100.
All of our furniture is hand polished. French Polish finish is available for
all pieces of furniture for a 5% surcharge.
Undistressed finishes: Due to the additional work required in specially
selecting timber required for these orders, there is a 5% surcharge. |

11 Upholstery |
| When specifying 'customers own material' on chairs, notification
of it's fire resistance is necessary. Where a barrier cloth is required,
there is a 5% surcharge. Fabric widths are based on standard 137cm (54")
width material. |

12 Provision of Information |
| When you order any items from us you will need to provide us
with your name, address, e-mail address and credit card details.
We will use these details in accordance with our privacy policy.

13 Pricing
|
| All prices are stated in pounds sterling. Prices are inclusive
of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges. |

14 Payment
|
| Whilst we can take secure online payment by credit card for
all of our accessories, our furniture can only be ordered and
paid for by cheque, bankers draft, direct bank transfer or cash.
Cheques made payable to ‘The Tudor House’. Bank details
available upon request. Please do not hesitate to contact
us should you have any questions.

15 Acceptance of Delivery |
| A signature will be required to acknowledge delivery of your
order. This signature will be proof that you or the person to
whom the order was addressed has received the order. Ownership
of the items in your order will pass to you on delivery. |

16 Right to Cancel, Returns and Refunds
|
| You have the right to cancel your order within 28 days of delivery
for all items except furniture (see 16a). If you wish to cancel
your order within this period please complete the Return Form
which will be provided to you with your order and email us on
help@tudorhousefurniture.co.uk to arrange the return of the item(s).
If you have lost your Return Form please email and we will be
able
to
assist you.
In the event that you cancel an order before the items have
been despatched to you, we will give you a full refund of any
monies paid within ten days of receipt of notification from
you that you wish to cancel your order. In the event that you
cancel an order after the items have been despatched to you
we will refund the value of the items to you within ten days
of your having returned the items to us in an unused re-saleable
condition. Refunds will be made by way of a credit to your
Credit card/Debit card account. |

16a Right to Cancel, Returns and Refunds - Furniture (includes
all upholstery, dining, cabinet and bedroom furniture)

Cancellation of furniture orders can only be accepted within
14 days from the date of the order.
If for any reason you cancel all or part of your order after
this period, other than fault on behalf of The Tudor House, you
will be charged 50% of the cancelled item(s). This sum will be
payable
by you within 7 days of the item(s) becoming available for delivery.
We apologise for this charge, but it is necessary to offset our
handling/clearance costs.
If the goods do not fit into your property and the order
is subsequently cancelled by yourself, then a 50% cancellation
fee will be charged (clearance/handling costs). It is your
responsibility to ensure that goods will fit into your property.
Dimensions of the items of furniture ordered are available
on request.
Furniture goods are specially ordered and to your specification,
consequently once contractual delivery has taken place,
refunds or exchanges will only be available if goods are
of unsatisfactory quality.
Please note that your right to return items to us in accordance
with these terms and conditions is in addition to any other
statutory rights you may have.

17 Notices |
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these
terms and conditions, all notices from you to us must be in
writing and sent to our contact address at:

18 Invalidity |
| If any part of these terms and conditions
is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude
our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of
these conditions will not be effected. |

19 Third Party Rights |
| A person who is not a party to these terms
and conditions has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of
Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement
but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party
that exists or is available apart from that Act. |

20 Governing Law |
| These terms and conditions are governed by
and will be interpreted in accordance with English law and the
English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any
disputes between us. |
