All of the furniture is made entirely from selected solid oak, ash, walnut, olive and mahogany. Tradition is continued by using centuries old methods and techniques and careful hand planing enhances the grain and reveals the natural beauty of this most attractive of hardwoods. Each piece is meticulously hand polished giving a deep patina and an authentic aged appearance. Craftsmen have been using Oak for centuries, indeed it is at the very heart of English history. The timber used in producing these pieces is from managed woodlands, where the trees are felled on a carefully controlled basis. Only mature wood is used for making furniture as it needs time to
develop the character and grain that are essential to the finish of the final piece.
